Quick & Easy Ground Chicken Tacos

These quick and easy ground chicken tacos are a weeknight staple for a reason. Made with Denmark Foods Ground Chicken, simple seasoning, and classic taco toppings, they come together fast and are perfect for build-your-own taco nights the whole family will love.

INGREDIENTS

For the Taco Filling
  • 1 lb Denmark Foods Ground Chicken
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
    (or 2 tablespoons prepared Mexican-style seasoning)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable or olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
For Serving
  • Corn or flour tortillas
  • Shredded cheddar or Mexican-blend cheese
  • Chopped tomatoes or pico de gallo
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Sliced jalapeños
  • Lime wedges
Optional additions: sour cream, avocado, hot sauce

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes, breaking it up with a spatula as it browns.
  3. Add taco seasoning and stir until evenly combined. Continue cooking until the chicken is fully cooked and no pink remains.
  4. Add 2 tablespoons water, stir, cover, and reduce heat to low.
  5. Simmer for 8–10 minutes, allowing the flavors to develop and the meat to stay juicy.
  6. Remove from heat and serve warm in tortillas with your favorite toppings.
